Caring for the place,
we call home.
Preserving our environment, supporting our communities, and shaping a more responsible way to experience Mauritius.
Beau Vallon Hospitality is committed to sustainable hospitality in Mauritius, integrating environmental and community-focused practices across its hotels.
Caring for our surroundings is part of the way we welcome our guests. Our hotels are located in the South-East and East of Mauritius, regions known for their lagoons, coastal landscapes and strong sense of community.
These places are not only where we operate, they are part of what makes each stay meaningful. Preserving them is an essential part of the experience we offer.
Responsible Operations
Across our properties, sustainability is embedded in daily hotel operations. From optimising water and energy use to reducing waste and limiting single-use plastics, our teams work continuously to improve efficiency while maintaining the comfort and quality our guests expect.
Digitalisation of internal processes also helps reduce paper use, while ongoing monitoring of resource consumption helps guide continuous improvement.
Responsible Sourcing
Responsible sourcing plays a key role in our approach. Whenever possible, we prioritise local suppliers and products with a lower environmental impact.
In housekeeping and food and beverage, practical initiatives help optimize resource use and reduce food waste.
Supporting Local Communities
Our commitment extends beyond our hotels. Through the Beau Vallon Inclusive Foundation, and in collaboration with local partners and suppliers, we aim to contribute positively to the regions where we operate and support long-term local development.
People at the Heart of Sustainability
Ultimately, sustainability is driven by people. Our teams are regularly sensitized to responsible practices so that these become part of everyday routines, while guests are invited to participate through simple gestures during their stay.
As part of this commitment, guests also have the opportunity to contribute directly through a voluntary €1 per night donation, supporting the work of the Beau Vallon Inclusive Foundation. This initiative helps fund projects that strengthen social and environmental resilience in the South-East of Mauritius, from community support to biodiversity protection..
A Continuous Journey
Our approach is based on continuous improvement, aligned with internationally recognized sustainability standards and adapted to the realities of hospitality operations.
As part of this ongoing journey, Preskil Island Resort was awarded the Green Key certification since December 2025, recognizing the structured environmental practices implemented at the property.
